Our friendly and highly trained crew provide weekly and bi-weekly scheduled lawn mowing.
Our aeration service is important to break up and loosen the soil to allow water to reach into the soil and roots. The aerator pulls out small cores across the lawn to do this.
It's important to clean your lawn of any leaves and debris throughout the year so your grass can grow properly and not be damaged. If leaves are left, it can create an unhealthy lawn and even bare spots.
We provide premium quality lawn fertilizer products to give your lawn the nutrients it needs to grow healthy and vibrant throughout the season. We treat every lawn individually as we understand that one size does not fit all!
We offer de-thatching to help your lawn breathe and receive water more easily by removing any thatch that may have built up over time. If this is not done, it can create a barrier on the soil surface, not allowing the water to penetrate. Our equipment has several tines that move back and forth into the lawn to pull up the thatch build-up.
If you’re wanting to repair an area of your lawn, remove unwanted landscaping, or want an entirely new lawn, we have the experience and expertise to get the job done.
Is your lawn overgrown? We appreciate that the last thing you want to do is worry about your lawn, especially with everything else that goes on in your general day-to-day. That’s why we are here to take this chore away from your to-do list.

We always make sure when we finish working on your lawn that we keep all gates closed — so your pets are safe! You can have the peace of mind that we’ll take care of everything for you.
You will always be kept up to date with schedules. If there is rain or any other weather issues that may hold us up, we will always notify you through a text or email. Weather can also have an impact on your lawn’s appearance so you can rest assured that we will keep your property looking its best no matter what the weather.

We know that landscaping is quite the investment of time and money — and we want to help you get the most out of your investment. Whether it is for your residential or commercial property, we will provide you with a program that is tailored exactly to your needs.
Having mulch installed annually reduces the amount of water needed for plants and shrubs, keeping them protected from the cold of winter and the heat of summer.
We effectively remove weeds from mulch beds by their roots, ensuring they are properly disposed of. We also use an organic spray to kill any weeds that may be growing inside any cracks or crevices on your driveways, walkways or patios.
After the winter and during the fall seasons, any and all debris from trees such as sticks, leaves, and gumballs that may have fallen is promptly removed so as not to damage your landscaping and lawn.
We regularly trim and prune your trees and shrubs when needed to keep them in shape and in excellent condition. This will keep your landscaping always looking clean and at its best.
If you are interested in landscape maintenance for your residential or commerical property, get in touch with us today!

For mowing, we promise to be back to your property within 24 hours if a client notices something wrong or an area that was missed during our mowing visit.
Lawn and Beyond is the best fertilizing company in St Louis, MO when it comes to organic fertilizing.
Each step in the fertilization process is key in being able to preserve and maintain your lawn long term. If it is not properly fertilized, every year grass that dies to it's root will not come back, so over time a yard will slowly become thinned out and will need new seeds planted. The new seed uses a lot of the nutrients in the soil that can take away from the already established grass, so the correct amount of water, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, oxygen and other nutrients need to be put back into the soil with the fertilizer to keep the roots strong and healthy throughout the season.
Before using our fertilizer service, we first inspect your lawn to make sure that our fertilizer will work for your needs. We’ll never sell you on something that simply won’t work. During our inspection, if we see anything else that needs attention such as grubs or low pH in the soil, we also have extra applications that we can apply in addition to our fertilizing program, such as grub control and lime treatment.

Before we start working on your property, we ensure that your landscape is properly mulched. Our mulching process begins with us measuring how many cubic yards of mulch are needed to properly cover the area. If desired, we can then install a natural cut edge in your landscape to separate your turf from your landscape. The removal of any weeds and debris is essential in the next step and we install a weed preventer to stop future weeds from invading. Finally, we install the mulch and make sure all areas are evenly covered. If mulch has already been installed in the past on these areas, we lay down approximately 2”- 3” high of fresh mulch or of the area is brand new, we lay down approx. 4”.
To get the best out of your garden and landscape, we recommend mulching every spring season. We understand that mulching can be very labor-intensive and can be expensive if you are purchasing it by the bag. At Lawn and Beyond, we purchase mulch in bulk from some of the best distributors in the St. Louis area — so we can give you a great price! We use an organic, fine course mulch that breaks down evenly into your landscape, giving nutrients and retaining water to the roots of your plants. Mulching will help protect your garden and plants, even during some of the most extreme weather conditions.
What is aeration?
Aeration is the process of making an opening through the top layer of soil in a lawn. Usually, this is done by removing small cores that are 2”- 3” in size. Aeration is usually recommended for lawn renovations or in the spring or fall to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. It helps to break and loosen the top layer of soil to get more oxygen, water, and nutrients to the root of the grass. It also helps prevent thatch build up and breaks it loose. Aeration is helpful when over-seeding as the seed will be able to fall into the holes from the removed cores and the grass will germinate much better. Getting your lawn aerated will help the grass to grow deeper roots and look more vibrant when done, along with proper fertilizing and watering.

Sod installation can be tricky if not done by someone with experience and know-how. Before beginning, we will always make sure your soil is properly tested to ensure the sod will be able to thrive.
We begin our process by making sure the soil's pH is not too acidic and is rich enough in nutrients. If not, we will put down a 2" layer of rich topsoil before installation. If the soil is already good, we will loosen the top couple inches with a tiller so the roots of the sod can easily grow into the new ground. Once the soil is prepped, it is time to lay down some beautiful, green grass.
We install the sod, making sure it is properly cut to cover every inch, not leaving any gaps. If the installation is on a slope, we use stakes to secure the sod from moving due to any potential heavy rain. No matter what, we always make sure your sod is set up for a successful growing season!
You can have the peace of mind that we are fully insured when we work on your property.
Lawn and Beyond started as a simple idea…
After 5 years of working for another company out in the field and gaining lots of experience along the way, I decided it was time for a change. During this time I was in the financial crisis of my life. I was jobless, in debt over my head from college and living with my then-girlfriend, who is now my wife, in the cheapest place I could find, a garage I rented for $40 a month. With not much more to lose than my sanity, I knew I had to give it my all if I was going to get this business off the ground. She and I started out from the bottom, with no capital, no loans, just a truck, a broom and desire to better serve the St. Louis community. We would regularly go out for long hours, handing out fliers to anyone and everyone. This is my story in a nutshell, and I hope it will inspire others like me. It just goes to show that even a 'nobody' like me with an idea and a desire to live a better life through hard work and commitment, can blossom and grow to produce beautiful fruit by never giving up!
With lots of perseverance, dedication, and motivation, after our 3rd year in business, I can finally say Lawn and Beyond is here to stay! We have reinvested every dollar earned to continue to grow and better serve our clients. As we continue to grow, I can promise you we will give the same great service, keep the same great relationships and always be seeking the best ways to take care of you!
